one should never deposit one's checks, then one has so much disposable monies. holy lick.

i went to all three mennonite clothes closets today, i bought two big white sheets to make duvet covers. some pink and white streamers. some big pretty tins for putting things in. a crinolin skirt. and other random objects. i went to a&b sound an dbought 3 cds. i bought my original searched item: the elliott smith self titled album. then i bought the chicago soundtrack with bonus dvd. and the o brother where art thou? soundtrack. awesome. awe inspiring.

i had to buy the chicago soundtrack because i've had the songs stuck in my head all day. me and jm did end up seeing it yesterday, despite my over-sleeping. it was pretty freaking good. the music was the best part i think. i loved 'mr. cellophane' so brilliant. and i mean, i'm scared of clowns, so that's saying a lot. i'm glad that i didn't really know anything about the plot before going in. i love film. i highly recommend the bonus dvd if you liked the movie. it has a little bit of all of the best scenes on it, and it has the music video for 'all that jazz'. it's worth the extra couple dollars.

i was also productive. i made a shoe-wall-hanging thing out of green lace. and i sewed a duvet cover. i cleaned and i ran errands. i also worked a three hour shift this morning from 7-10. it was fun. just having to do novelties and then getting to go home. well, first i ate an omelette.

i have so many movies that i've been meaning to watch. but i haven't watched tv in a couple of days. i was really meaning to today. and i bought two more today at superstore. i bought 'ghost world', which i'm sure how much i like, but it's so interesting and strange and was only $5. 'no such thing' was also $5, and it has sarah polley in it, so i bought that too. i've never seen it. i don't expect it to be very good at all.

don't worry i taped the dawson's creek series finale tonight. i hope it worked out well. don't ruin it for me. please.

the best part of my night for sure was hanging out with maggi. we tried to invite jamie along but he wasn't home. and we even invited ryan pollard, but he was too tired. (so he says.) we went and bought lemon (vegan) pudding from superstore and then we went to the sask cresent park to eat it. i like to do things like that. sit and eat and talk. it was really funny that greg, alyssa and ted wandered through the park too. this city's too fucking small. they were drinking abscyinth (i have no idea how to spell that), and wandering out to defenbaker. (oh god i can't spell.) maggi and i had some good fun. we looked at mehta's old house. and we were going to knock on the door...

we went to the living room to have tea for two. but on the way there maggi found a converse shoe box sticking out of the garbage. naturally we kept it. it's now our collective box or, rather, we- with it- are a collective. and like to be refered to as 'the box' or even just 'box' is fine. it has converse tissue paper inside. it gets magical secret fun stuff put inside of it. i like it so much.

we ate some more pudding in supertruck outside of her house and made the funniest string of jokes i've experienced in awhile. but i can't explain it to you, because then you'd know how terrible of people we are. and by terrible i mean great.

i'm happy to be going to a show tomorrow. especially if mags is coming. and mehta. and we might bring jamie..if we can find him. we'll see i suppose.

i am so bloody tired. it's my last show tomorrow. i hope i break some legs. specifically josh and tristan's.
