disclaimer: this is the life and times of meredith r. mistletoe. i'm making a slight attempt to disguise my identity and hide things that i write about and pretend i don't feel things i do. but if you read this and i don't know you read it, then you read it at your own risk. and you should let me know you're reading it... especially because a lot of the time things need clarifying or aren't quite true anymore or etc etc etc.

note: potential employers: please do not judge me on my diaryland. that's lame.

haha. my brother's got a diary. he's almost thirteen. and pretty crazy. you can read it if you want.

it's still snowy here. but not nearly as cold as saskatoon. thank the lord. i didn't end up leaving the house at all on my snow day. i still haven't done laundry. i'm a real college kid!!!! if only i had some kraft dinner. well, i was thinking about having some pasta. that's pretty close.

i went thrift store shopping yesterday. at the sally ann, and at 'thrift town'. but neither were even close to the joys found at mcc and value village in saskatoon. i did manage to get a few things. some t-shirts for class, a funny funny pink purse, and some black converse hightops. i've never had black hightops before! sure i have four other colours, as well as black lowriders. but still.

i was glad to go back to school yesterday. one snow day is enough. and today is my regular thursday off, which i enjoy. school was interesting yesterday, we finally performed all of all monologues. it was interesting. i was really not surprised though, by anything. those who i expected to be good, were, and the others..well.. you know. yes, ali, damon, and nathaneal's were all worth watching, and appropriate for them. this guy dwayne, did a monologue from charlie brown that was so well done. quite quite. but i expected his to be good...i'm pretty judgemental you know.

we went to see ron howard last night! it was pretty interesting i have to say. i managed not to be overly star struck, but he was so cute and nice and funny. it was very bizzare to be there. i mean..ron howard? that's intense. there was barely anytime for a question and answer period. i was sad. i wanted to hear what people had to ask, and more and more of what he had to say. it seems like he'd be really great to work with. there was a screening of 'the missing' before the talk..i was disappointed. it was not terrible by any stretch, but for ron howard, i expected better. he did want to do a western though..so. and the acting was quite top notch i believe. especially the two young girls. worth it to see them.

and we went out for drinks afterwards. me, ali, damon, erin (who i've taken a shine to), shiraz (such a weirdo, i can't even explain), frank (genuinely nice and kind of funny), sherman (probably my least favorite person in the class..various creepy reasons), and a guy from second year, tommy. it was pretty fun. ali didn't stay too long, so i ended up talking to damon for most of it. he's quite smart and wellspoken, and easy to talk to. but i still find him cocky/irritating sometimes..but it really is insecurity i think. we'll see.

who googled my diary for maredeath micra? priscilla i'm looking at you.

i should really get some stuff done today. my other student loan documents came yesterday, so i might not die in the streets..too much.

no one's been leaving me enough notes. or emailing enough. you should really get right on that.
