disclaimer: this is the life and times of meredith r. mistletoe. i'm making a slight attempt to disguise my identity and hide things that i write about and pretend i don't feel things i do. but if you read this and i don't know you read it, then you read it at your own risk. and you should let me know you're reading it... especially because a lot of the time things need clarifying or aren't quite true anymore or etc etc etc.

note: potential employers: please do not judge me on my diaryland. that's lame.

i like it when something unexpected happens and gives me extra time, like when something is cancelled or pushed back. like today, when i found out i worked a half hour later than i thought. it gave me time to sit around, which i love doing in the morning.

and i still managed to be late for work.

work went by really quickly...and it was genuinely fun in places. amanda, who cheerleads for the hilltops taught me a new dance, and i helped her make up a new intro for it. fun! i bothered helen incessantly, which she really enjoyed. nadia was by with her baby for lunch. jerry wasn't there!!!!! i spilt water everywhere, and dropped about 15 things on the ground. i think the best part of my day was that i was making friends with this guy named jamie, man he's nice. maggi knows him. anyways, now we're best friends (i haven't told him this yet). we had good conversations about hyprocrites and stupid corporations (ie: body shop), and not eating meat. he's my first vegetarian jerry friend. he said everyday on the line someone makes a joke like 'hey, do you want bacon on your veggie burger? how about some ham, and sausages? do you want a meat-lovers omlette?' and i said 'and it just gets funnier and funnier doesn't it?' and he said 'oh, yeah!'. it was great fun. all the boys at jerry's are so bent set on being 'real guys' and flirting with all the girls (in awkward and irritating ways), so it's a refreshing change to have intellegent conversation for once. yeah, jamie.

also, i'd like to say: yay for soluble fibre! you rule!

tomorrow i work at body shop in the morning and i hope i get to go to the school. i like the kids, and if i don't go, i have to hear someone bitching about 'the west side' 'poor poor kids.' , etc, etc, pity this pity that. fucking shite. wow, julie from work just phoned, it was like she could read my mind. yes, julie, i do hate your opinions sometimes.

i finally got 'the city of lost children' today. if you haven't seen it, i highly recommend it. it's by the guys who made 'amelie'. it's so ingenious and inventive. i'm excited to watch it again.

i have to go eat some more, i bought 70 dollars worth of grocerys, right now i'm eating sourdough bread with olive oil and apple cider vinegar. i think i might have some havarti, or some corn pops, or some mocha soy milk....mmm. i'm liking that calm content feeling...
